Catering Guidelines

Takeda Guckenheimer Team – Kendall Square

1. Introduction

  • 1.1 Purpose: This Catering guideline has been established to outline the procedures, and expectations for catering services provided by Takeda Guckenheimer Team to its valued clients.
  • 1.2 Scope: This guidance applies to all catering activities conducted by Takeda Guckenheimer Team and serves as a reference document for our clients and the catering team. This document includes site-specific points of contact for each US GREFP site.

2. Standard Catering Services

  • 2.1 Ordering Standard Catering: Clients interested in standard catering services including breakfasts, lunches, snacks, and beverage services can start the process through Online Ordering up to 48 hours in advance.
  • 2.2 Ordering Express Menu: clients interested in the Express Menu have until 10AM the day before to submit the order.
  • 2.3 Event Details: Clients are encouraged to provide all necessary event details, including date, time, location, estimated number of attendees, allergens, dietary restrictions, and payment method during the booking process. If you need more information or require customization, please reach out to the site-specific Catering Team.

3. Receptions/Evening

  • 3.1 Ordering: Clients interested in hosting an evening function should initiate the process by booking the location with the site-specific Conference Room Management Team. Once location is confirmed, reach out to the site-specific catering team two weeks prior to your desired date. During holiday months, we recommend providing additional lead time for optimal coordination.
  • 3.2 Reception Options: We offer a range of reception menu offerings, upgraded chinaware, themed linens, florals, and specialty desserts.
  • 3.3 Bartending Service: All bartending services are required to go through the on-site catering team. Costs for bartending services are determined by consumption and labor factors. The catering team will provide you with an estimated cost for your reference.
  • 3.4 Custom Menu: For custom menus and reception requests that deviate from our standard menu, it is recommended to initiate the conversation via email at least 2 weeks prior to the event. This will ensure all requests can be met. During the holiday season, additional lead time may be required.
